The Colonel's Crap System - Easy methods to Play the...

Players from all countries can PLAY!
AtlantisGold

How to play the Colonel's crap system will take you simply a couple of minutes to be informed. It's fun and easy, and has added benefits to playing. Or maybe it will be said that it sometimes has a good looking payout after a scary run of losses.

The Colonel was a real player who spent nearly two decades playing craps at Harrah's in Reno, Nevada. It was rumored that the old man have been a Colonel within the US Army, but nobody knew needless to say. He was in his eighties or nineties after I last saw him, still playing his beloved system of field bets on the crap game.

The Colonel's betting system involved placing bets within the "field" area of the crap game. At Harrah's, the sector bet was a single-roll bet and it paid for winning rolls of (2,3,4,9,10,11,12). When 2 rolled, the payoff was double and when 12 rolled the payoff was triple. The Colonel always waited for 3 non-field rolls to move by before starting his system, then he used an easy Martingale system of doubling up his bets until a field bet came up or he tapped out.

How the System Works

After three consecutive non-field rolls, make a $5 bet at the field. If (2,3,4,9,10,11,12) roll, you win. A roll of 2 pays double your bet and a roll of twelve pays triple! If there's a no-field number rolled, the system says double your bet to $10. If more no-field rolls arise on consecutive rolls, the following bets are: $20, $40, $80, $160, $320, and at last $640. This requires a complete playing bankroll of $1275.

The fun a part of the Colonel's crap system is that you just never know whether your next bet will win even money or a large payoff of double or triple your bet.

What Are the Odds?

Players sometimes miscalculate their odds of seeing a sequence of successes field or no field rolls because they add up the whole payoffs in preference to adding up only the entire winning rolls. The sphere numbers add as much as 16 wins in 36 rolls, or 20 loses in 36 rolls. Winning field rolls at Harrah's in Reno (odds per 36 rolls) are two (1 time), three (2 times), four (3 times), nine (4 times), ten (3 times), eleven (2 times) and twelve (1 time) - for a complete of 16 winners (16/36). However, since when rolled, two pays double and twelve pays triple, the overall payoff is nineteen. That appears find it irresistible should be a winner, right? Wrong.

The fact is, you are going to lose your bet 20 times out of 36, and come again 19 bets, so overall, you lose one bet out of 36, for a home fringe of 2.78 percent (divide one by 36). For fun, you'll be able to always discover a crap game that provides $1 bets and begin with a smaller bankroll betting $1, then $2, then $4 etc. after seeing three consecutive no-field rolls. For what it's worth, the chances of seeing 10 consecutive non-field rolls is (20/36) to the 10th, or about 357 to 1.

Figuring out should you might catch a two or twelve after several bets is harder, but if it happens on a $80 or $160 bet, the payoff is lots of fun!

That is the law in all jurisdictions and it's been upheld within the courts.

Plan Ahead Before you begin playing your favorite slot machines you will have a plan for what you are going to do whilst you hit a jackpot. Players get very excited when the hit the massive one and this will likely affect the selections they make about their winnings. Will probably be helpful when you know prior to time how much withholding you wish to have taken out or if you would like a check for all or one of the vital amount. Regardless what decisions you make, don’t forget to bring your ID with you while you play.

Betting Football

Players from all countries can PLAY!
AtlantisGold
Within the U.s. sports betting is solely legal within the state of Nevada but more wagering is completed on physical games than some other type of gambling. Offshore sports sites, illegal bookmaking operations, office pools and bets amongst friends and sports fans make it the #1 gambling activity.

The casino Sports books make their money on sports bets by collecting a commission on losing bets. That is called the Vigorish or Vig for brief. The most typical odds are 11 to ten. Because of this if you wish to win $100 you're risking $110. As an example you set a raffle at the Giants on the casino sports book and pay $110. If the Giants win you collect $210 while you cash your winning ticket. In case you lose your bet you lose the $110.

Ideally the Sports book want to have an identical quantity of cash wagered at the two teams playing. If the Giants are playing the Colts and so they have one player betting at the Giants and one player betting at the Colts they might pay the winner $100 but collect $110 for the loser. This offers them a $10 profit so that they really don’t care who wins so long as they have got an equal amount bet on each team. To perform this they assign a line or spread to make the competition equally attractive for both sides.

The Point Spread Many of us think that the purpose spread is the anticipated margin of victory during which one team will beat another team but this isn't true. The road is the handicapper’s prediction of how many may be required to separate the wagering evenly on both teams. Because of this the road may change from the outlet line to the road at game time.

When you bet on a game with the purpose spread your team doesn't necessarily need to win. You simply want to cover the spread. For those who bet on Miami who's favored to win by 7 and so they only win by 4 you lose. When you bet Chicago who's a ten point underdog and so they only lose by 3 points then you definately win.

Types of Bets A Straight bet is of venture made on a single game or outcome. You'll decide to bet the favourite or the under dog otherwise you can bet the over or under of the full score. Whilst you make a straight bet you're betting on a single event or outcome.

Over/Under You can even choose the over or the under for the sport total. The over or the under is a wager at the total score on the end of the sport. You add the scores of both teams to get the general number. While you bet the under you might be betting that the score might be under the whole. Whilst you bet the over you're betting the score can be higher than the entire. For instance the overall score of the sport is: Colts 32 and Giants 17. The full of the sport is 49. You win in case you bet over and the score was greater than 49 or if you happen to bet under and the score was lower than 49. If the score was exactly 49 then it'd be a tie often known as a push.

Parlay A Parlay bet is a single bet that links together the result of multiple game or event. The parlay may also be constructed from a sequence of bets on a team, over/under bets, or any mix of the 2. For the parlay to be a winning wager, one and all of its individual plays must win. If any of the person bets isn't a winner, then all of the parlay wager loses.

The payout for a parlay bet varies with the selection of wagers within the parlay. A two team parlay usually pays 13 to five and a 3 team pays 6 to at least one. Some sports books and bookmakers offer slightly or higher payouts on parlays so that you must always shop around for the most productive payouts.

Parlay bets are attractive for the reason that bet is low and the payoff is high. However you need to pick multiple winners to achieve success. It would be for your advantage to pick out several games straight up in place of linking them together.

Teasers A Teaser is one wager along with 2 or more propositions wherein you might be allowed to regulate the purpose spread for your favor. As an example in a two team football teaser you'll add or subtract 6, 6 ½ or 7 points to the purpose spread of every team. Most Teasers are even money bets.

As an example: You must bet the Colts and Miami in a teaser. The Colts are 7.5 favorites over the Jets and Miami is a 3.5 underdog to New England. Taking them in a 6 point teaser the purpose spread for the bet is: Colts – 1.5 (subtract 6 from 7.5) and Miami + 9.5 (add 6 to 3.5).

Learn how to Play Omaha Poker

Players from all countries can PLAY!
AtlantisGold
Omaha may resemble Texas Hold’em within the undeniable fact that this can be a game played with five community cards however the game is rather different. There are two variations of the game, Omaha High only and Omaha Hi/Lo split. It may be played with the betting being a structured Limit game otherwise you can find No Limit and Pot Limit games. I CAN use the Limit Omaha High game within the explanation about the right way to play.

The rules of the sport are fairly easy to be informed. Limit Hold'em has structured betting, and the bottom limit you're going to usually find in most casinos is a $2/$4. Other limits you can also find are 5/10 or 10/20 or higher. I'LL BE using the 32/4 game for example on this book. That implies the minimum bet is three dollars through the first two rounds of betting and the minimum bet is six dollars over the last two betting rounds. These same limits are used whilst you raise besides.

The Dealer For the reason that casino supplies a dealer one player should be the designated dealer who will act last in the course of the betting rounds. A disk or "Button" is used to spot the dealer and that is rotated to the left after each hand. Unlike stud, the entire players don't ante each round. Blind bets are posted to generate a starting pot just the way in which that they're in Texas Hold’em.

The Start To start out a brand new hand two "Blind" bets are submit or "Posted." The player immediately to the left of the player with the dealer button puts up or "posts" the small blind that's approximately half the minimum bet. The small blind for the $2/4 game is one dollar. The player to the left of the small blind posts the massive blind that's equal to the minimum bet that is three dollars for this game. The remainder of the players don't publish any money to start out the hand. Since the button rotates across the table, each player will eventually act because the big blind, small blind and dealer. It is going to cost you three dollars each time the deal makes an entire rotation across the table.

The Opening After the blinds are posted each player is dealt four cards face down with the player at the small blind receiving the primary card and the player with the dealer button getting the last card. The primary betting round begins with the player to the left of the large blind either setting up two dollars to name"" the blind bet, or putting in place four dollars to boost"" the large blind or folding his hand. The betting goes across the table so as until it reaches the player who posted the small blind. That player can call the bet by putting in place one dollar since a dollar bet was already posted. The last person to behave is the massive blind. If nobody has raised, the dealer will ask in the event that they would love the choice. This implies the massive blind has the choice to boost or simply "check."

The Flop e cards are dealt and turned face up in the midst of the table. That is referred to as the "Flop." These are community cards utilized by all of the players. Another betting round begins with the primary active player to the left of the dealer button. The minimum bet for this round may be three dollars.

The Turn When the betting round after the flop is completed, the dealer burns another card and turns a fourth card face up in the midst of the table. That is known as the "Turn." The minimum bet after the turn is now six dollars and begins again with the primary active player to the left of the button.

The River Following the betting round for the turn, the dealer will burn another card and switch a fifth and final card face up. That is called the "river," and the general betting round begins with six dollars being the minimum bet. There may be usually a 3 or four raise maximum during all betting rounds except if the play becomes heads up with two players. Then the raises are unlimited.

The Showdown To figure out the winner, the players MUST use two of his hole cards and 3 cards from the "Board" to form the top five-card hand. From time to time two players will tie which happens very often in Omaha Hi/Lo. If that's the case the players will split the pot. A sixth card is rarely used to wreck a tie.

Next Omaha Hi Low.

Practicing Casino Dice at Home

AtlantisGold
Photo Courtesy (Getty Images) Photo Courtesy (Getty Images)

I hesitated calling this the art of practicing craps at home, but we're all sophisticated people here, so I probably didn't wish to call this blog "dice," did I? Well, anyway, a chum of mine was ogling a craps table on eBay, for just $5,000. I, suggested other options. Apart from actually buying a full-size casino craps table for $1,200 or so locally (check the paper, Craig's list, etc.), you'll want to consider just going on your local casino and playing the sport itself. Silly, I know.

Even if you wish to practice the art of dice control, it is a lot cheaper to play the sport live with a $3 bet at the line (sure, $5 sometimes - or don't play when the group pushes the sport to a $10 or $15 minimum) and do all you strange contortions and peculiar betting patterns. In fact, should you bet $5 at the line and do not make every other bets, you'll be able to expect that the 1.41 percent edge the home has is solely going to price you a couple of bucks an hour. If there are 21 decisions and also you lose 11 and win 10, well, that's $5. Have a free drink and luxuriate in your rehearsal. Is it really essential to get a $5,000 table to practice on? You'll always buy a type of shadow-box roughly deals with the egg-shell rubber padding and about 3-feet of wood and felt to toss the dice into. They simply cost about $100 delivered.

If you do visit the casino, you furthermore may might consider some of the craps side-bets offered these days, especially in Mississippi. My favorite is Fire Bet and Sharp Shooter, where you get a fairly large payoff for making 3 or more points in a row. In fact, it's good to just bet the line, toss the dice yourself all day, and make that side-bet, and in case you really do keep from throwing a 7-out, you will get 29 to at least one for 6 points, and at Fire Bet, you get 1,000 to at least one for making a minimum of certainly one of all the points (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10). That's enough to shop for your personal table!

Back in relation to practicing at home, learn the chances and practice find out how to add a couple of wagers (come, place, buy bets) to a going hand and that is the reason really all you will have. Dice is lots more fun on a hectic game at an actual casino. Try it, you'll like it.

Downtown Las Vegas Staying Relative

The "D" within the picture isn't for Downtown, but we will be able to always pretend it's! Personally, I used to stick at the Las Vegas Strip once I could get a room on the Stardust or Circus Circus as a child for 29-bucks. At that price, and with 2-buck sandwiches or hamburgers, I had a variety of money to blow at poker. Once I got ok at poker to sustain my vacation/living expenses I rented a bungalow on the Dunes for $400 a month (yeah, I DO KNOW they imploded the Dunes in '93, so that you can tell I HAVE BEEN at this casino gambling thing for quite a while!), but that meant I needed to discover a lot of inexpensive meals, like 99-cent breakfasts, 99-cent shrimp cocktails, and 99-cent Alka-Seltzer tablets.

For a while, the Dunes had an excellent poker room, but I gravitated to Downtown Las Vegas because I liked the Golden Nugget, and all-around the valuables I DISCOVERED good, cheap eats, just like the shrimp or crab cocktails on the Four Queens and the Golden Gate. I also ate a ton (yes, 2000 pounds) of Pastrami and Corned Beef sandwiches on the Horseshoe for $2.95 each. In this day and age I still just like the Nugget, but I tend toward vegetarian fare, or I keep on with sushi, and the Nugget keeps looking to reinvent itself, as do a little of the clubs just like the D within the Downtown corridor. That's a fair thing. The rooms are cheaper than at the strip, you'll be able to park and reach a dozen clubs on foot, and while you desire a break from the gaming, just walk outside to the Fremont Experience and luxuriate in the show!

I've also noticed that the clubs Downtown love to give new table games a try, and it was on the D that I caught a brand new game last month, and this month the Golden Nugget has Big Raise Stud Poker. It is a pretty easy game, so much like Let-it-Ride, and should you just play the usual bet and make your 1x or 4x raise on the correct time, the home edge is a cheap 2.78 percent. That's pretty good for a carnival game. Test it out in case you get a chance.

Top Ten Texas Hold'em Poker Tells

Players from all countries can PLAY!
AtlantisGold

The game of poker will also be deceptively difficult. Texas Hold'em is slightly confusing whilst you start, but whenever you learn how to play poker the sport can lead even a terrible player to think they're just about playing perfect!

A new player to the sport of golf doesn't think they need to tee it up with Tiger Woods and play for money! But everyday there are one million poker players risking their hard-earned money in games they've no business in. In fact, new players often think they're just nearly as good as experienced players like Doyle Brunson. And there are several reasons for that.

The first reason is that TV poker games don't show every hand. They key on exciting hands and provides viewers tunnel vision - a distorted view of what was happening on any given table. There are lots of how one can manipulate your opponents, and there's plenty to be learned about those self same opponents, but those skills take years of practice to hone, and also you can't see that on TV.

However, you're capable of pick up a couple of tells from the players, especially because you get to peer their hole cards. A tell is any mannerism or movement that a player makes subconsciously, or makes purposely seeking to throw off the competition.

Tell Primary: Loose Talk, Tight Play

The the first thing you desire to find out about each opponent is what starting cards they'll play. In Texas Hold'em, each players' two cards are known only to them, so that you need to learn their range of starting hands. And, your first clue to that is what number of hands they really play. A GOOD player is probably going to just find about one hand in 10 they truly wish to play, but they are going to even be all in favour of blind hands.

Some players like to speak about the entire hands they play, why they'd to lift etc. But are they truly playing numerous hands? Do not be fooled by loose talk and tight play. Simply count the hands they're interested by. In the event that they fold a lot, expect the hands they do become involved in to be all pocket pairs, face cards and face cards with an ace. Watch out!

Tell Number Two: Button Raises

Many players always raise from the cutoff or button if no other players are within the hand yet (and infrequently when there just hasn't been a raise). Sure, they could have a hand, but don't toss your blind hand away on every occasion they raise or they'll never stop!

Tell Number Three: Who's the Action Up To?

If a player is suddenly very excited by the action, even perhaps asking, "Is it as much as me?" they probably found something they liked of their starting hand or at the board. Give 'em some credit for a hand and watch very closely when the hand is shown down. What do you see?

Tell Number Four: My Chips Are Neatly Stacked

Every player develops a habit of stacking their chips in a definite way. For probably the most part, players who've messy chips are looser and likely to simply be enjoying the sport. Conversely, players who've perfect stacks probably have a lot of time to prepare them because they are not in very many hands. Watch and ensure this!

Tell Number Five: I CANNOT Wait to Raise

A player who does the "insta-raise" is unlikely to be bluffing. They were just looking ahead to the action to get to them after which boom - there go the chips. I believe.

Tell Number Six: Calling to the Flush Draw

Players like to discover a reason to play every hand. When a player calls in late position pre-flop and just keeps calling the entire way, there's a good chance they are attempting to hit a flush or a straight. Often, if two of a suit hits the flop and a 3rd suited card hits the river it spells danger. You may even check a lesser hand you have been betting in a limit game and look forward to that last player to behave. Then, you will likely need to call their bet and hope they've something lower than a straight or a flush.

However, this works well, as it saves you having to name a raise, and often the player decides to make a last-ditch bluff. Enjoy.

Tell Number Seven: I'm Suddenly Quiet

Some players which can be normally talkative get very quiet once they hit a hand. Watch, and in the event that they suddenly raise, that's usually the tell - and the answer.

Tell Number Eight: I'm whistling or Singing a Tune

It's my experience that a player who raises pre-flop and at the flop, will sometimes attempt to act so non-nonchalant that they really whistle or sing somewhat tune after they bet at the turn or the river. That's usually an even tell for someone who has not improved their hand, acting happy or over-confident.

Te;; Number Nine: I AM NOT Moving

There is usually a reason when a player suddenly raises at the river and also you can't determine what they hit, because they were either there at the flop, or they missed completely. Although I'VE seen it both ways, in the event that they make the raise after which sit there, super still, it's more likely they're hardly breathing not to show fear and keep you from calling.

Tell Number Ten: I REALLY LIKE That Card

An almost involuntary move by many players is to right away take a look at their chips after they love a card that hits. Often is the flop, turn, or river. However, after they look down quickly, then act uninterested until it's their turn and so they raise, I'm usually convinced they hit something nice.

Learn Your personal Patterns

Specifically, tells are a subconscious movement or pattern. Often, these tells are most respected in no-limit hold'em. I've seen players announce their raise only after they were weak and just push their stack of chips to the center once they were strong. I also saw a perfect star player who was counting out his raise on a bluff and pushing several stacks without counting when he had the nuts. Oops.

However, a very powerful tell is the only you give to the opposite players. Don't use the similar method on every occasion you bet or raise. Do one method on strong hands several times after which use it again on a bluff, or once you have caught on a bluff, use the similar method the following time you could have a monster.

Players from all countries can PLAY!
AtlantisGold

Antes tuvo muchos trabajos.

Me mira y me dice “no te preocupes”
