The Answer The correct answer is number 3. This is a split pot. In Texas Hold’em the winning hand is the top five card hand. It may be constructed from any combination of the 2 personal cards held by the players and the five community cards. Sometimes the top five card hand is made through the use of the five community cards as in our example above. A sixth or seventh card is rarely used to damage a tie.
In this case if there has been a 3rd or fourth player still active within the hand and so they didn't have a hand that would beat the straight at the board, then the pot can be split amongst all of the active players.
