Performing rituals to insure a good outcome dates back to early man. Tribal dancing, and other assorted ceremonies were performed to draw the favor of the Gods. A lot of these ancient rituals and practices have disappeared but there are still many intelligent and enlightened individuals who keep on one of the old practices once they visit the casino. Although most players know that hitting the large jackpot is an issue of luck, a few of them will resort to a few interesting and infrequently bizarre rituals in their own to insure good luck while they play.

Over the years I'VE observed players doing a little entertaining, bizarre and different rituals as they play the slots or table games. I DO KNOW that I HAVE NEVER seen all of it so I asked a few of my readers to share their observations or relate the rituals that they perform for luck. The response I received was amazing. When you've got ever openly or secretly performed a lucky ritual, rest assured, you aren't alone. Listed below are one of the vital rituals that players perform.

Before GamblingSome players will attempt to attract luck before they leave for the casino. QUITE A LOT OF players told me that they have got lucky clothing or jewelry that they are going to always wear to the casino.

Debbie told me a couple of lucky meal she prepares. “Several times after we went on gambling trips, we had a ranch style casserole at the night before and we won pretty big at the trip. So now my husband insists that at the night before every trip we need to have this dish. “

Many players love to check their horoscopes or biorhythms before they begin their trip. I don’t learn about you but I HAVE NOT see a horoscope that read, “Today is your unlucky day. Steer clear of the casino!”

Lucky CharmsCarrying a lucky charm is a well-liked ritual that players will do to take a look at to lead to luck. Perhaps the most typical ritual performed is tossing money into any fountain or body of water in or near the casino. These “Wishing Wells” are quite lucky for the casinos who net thousands of greenbacks per annum from players who think that throwing away money will bring them good luck so long as they make a wish while they do it.

Apparently some players believe within the power of prayer as they play. Numerous times I'VE seen players holding Rosary Beads and Crosses in a single hand as they pushed the spin button with the opposite. Some even pray out loud. There has been a man at a Midwest riverboat who prayed between holding cards and hitting the deal button on every hand of video poker hat he played. It was not only a snappy bow of the top but an earnest plea with an evangelical tone complete with promises to quit if his prayer was answered. He kept playing so it could not was working for him.

Manipulating the MachineMost players know that there's no approach to influence the end result of a spin on a slot machine but a lot of them will try different approaches as though the machine had feelings or was conscience of out of doors influences.

Some players love to get personal with the machines. They're going to kiss, fondle or talk intimately to the machine in hopes of persuading it to surrender its charms. Another player said, “I also love to tap the correct side of my VP machines before hitting the deal button. I appear to think I'm hypnotizing them, and that i then tell the machine what cards to deal. Sometimes it works!”

The most typical practice that I'VE seen is the player who removes and reinserts his slot cards as he plays. I once asked a player why he was doing this and he told me it was for the reason that machine would think there has been a brand new player sitting down. Another player I saw was constantly cashing out and putting fresh bills into the machine and cited the similar explanation for doing this. They really believe that the machine knows if someone new is sitting right down to play.

Make Your individual LuckThere is not any proof that charms, clothes, spouses or another rituals you perform can change your luck on the casino. However I KNOW that individuals who feel lucky and happy appear to have a way more enjoyable time in whatever activity they take part in. If carrying a lucky charm or performing a bit ritual whilst you play makes you're feeling good, then go right ahead so long as it doesn't infringe to your fellow players.
