August revenues soar at Kansas City, St. Louis casinos
Kansas City’s casinos reported an excellent month, topping $61 million in revenue. Many leading casinos, including The Argosy and Isle of Capri, even took in additional revenue last month than they did a year ago.
The St. Louis market’s revenue, meanwhile, was up 1.4 percent in August. The entire August take from Missouri's 12 casinos was up 0.2 percent, at $148.4 million.
