If the home offers an advantage of 1 matching bet if both the player and dealer tie again through the "war" on their next cards, the brink is whittled all the way down to about 2.32 percent. If the player surrenders, the home edge is ready 3.67 percent.

Tie Bet

The game of war also offers a separate "tie" wager. This bet is won when the dealer and player's first cards are the similar. The payoff is 10 to at least one.
