A recent Wall Street Journal article spoke to several Lion's Share fans, including some who would insist on only hitting the spin button with their feet in addition to other bizarre rituals:

Part of the allure is the truth that the $2.3 million jackpot (which continues to climb) hasn't ever been hit, leading some to bet that it's as a result of repay and that odds are slightly better for players than on other machines where jackpots was hit more recently.
